Adam Schefter just Tweeted Flores has been fired as head coach. I assume Harbaugh will be coming onboard. From bad to worse in my opinion.

Chris Grier to remain. WTF?

You know Ross is going to go after Harbaugh.   Both went to Michigan.  Harbaugh will demand to hand pick his GM.   Let's see if Ross gives in.

There is no going after. They are tight and it's most likely a done deal outside of signing the contract. Ross runs Michigan football just like he does the Dolphins. He is much, much more than a booster.

Flores will get another head coaching job pretty quickly. He isn't a bad coach and hopefully will learn from his mistakes.

The decision to fire Flores can be summed up with one word: Relationships. His relationship with Grier and Tua had deteriorated to a pretty bad place. Along with constant staff changes, owner Steve Ross no longer saw Flores as a healthy fit in Miami.

Don't count your chickens just yet about Harbaugh. I have very little faith that Ross can convince him to come to Miami. I'm also OK with Grier staying on as GM as I think he's done an OK job with the draft, I think it's the coaching that's at fault for the most part. Not as well in Free Agency but still not that bad. He has managed the salary cap well and we still have a lot of draft assets to use so not a bad job in my opinion, we just need to find a coaching staff than can coach them up.

So, a man that has gotten this team back-to-back winning seasons for the 1st time in nearly 20 yrs, is getting canned so someone else can come in?  I don't know who needs to hear this, but the OL fockin sucks.  that's this team's downfall.  Pure and simple.  Until this OL improves this team will struggle.

I'm shocked he actually pulled the trigger. I don't know why Grier is staying as he doesn't deserve a job but if we do actually get Harbaugh, I imagine Grier will be let go then. Maybe we're keeping Grier just in case we don't get him. Either way, NO MORE FIRST TIME HEAD COACHES!!
