I doubt the resolution to remove him would give him the power to do that. He would lose all control and the team which would be managed by a trust unto the sale was completed.

I honestly wouldn't know because each league has similar but different ways to go about this. Just like Brady was appealing up to the Supreme Court over NFL laws(which I think they denied to even hear it), I would think Snyder would do the same. It could get very messy.

Ultimately, it's pretty easy for owners to collectively remove one of their own.  Just as with Donald Sterling, if every other NFL team refuses to schedule the Commanders, Snyder has no games to play but is still on the hook to pay out his players' contracts. I doubt scheduling exhibition games with the Iowa Barnstormers would be enough to pay the bills.

I also think a lot has to do with reputation.  Ross is generally a liked guy.  I don't think he'd want to be a pariah, if he was accused of a bunch of stuff.  I could be way off on that, but he's not a big brash kind of dude.

I don't think Ross would let it go to a vote.  If a couple of owners and the commish tell him it is time to sell, he will take his profit and move on.

I don't think it's that simple. A season as short as the NFL'S doesn't lend itself to forfeiting one for something like this. Owners don't create the schedule.
