I really hope this guy can coach. He seems to be winning the media over.

McDaniel was also asked about his stance on a potential contract renegotiation with Howard, but with it being the last question of his session, he made sure to fulfill the Rich Eisen Challenge where the NFL Network host asks coaches to squeeze in as many cliché answers as possible.

“It is what it is,” McDaniel said in the comical cliché rally he went on that drew a high five from Eisen. “Me personally, I don’t have a crystal ball, but really, the only guys I can talk about are the players that are here today.”

Rich Eisen challenged him to use 3 coaching cliches in his press conference at the combine. https://twitter.com/RichEisenShow/status/1499034149675364356?s=20&t=i5CcmiMSZ4cTla2Pll9NnQ

Here he is nailing it with Eisen coming up to the stage and high fiving him. Everyone else looks lost and confused including Armando.

Getting offended by something you see on the internet is like choosing to step in dog shite instead of walking around it.

He does seem incredibly sharp and knowledgeable about the game, which is obviously a good thing. I just hope that the steroid fueled monsters we call NFL Players will follow him. It's almost always a fine line between disciplinarian and friend you have to walk as head coach and I hope he got it.

I hope he has enough success early on here in Miami that he ends up staying a long time...

Our last coach that stayed at least a full 4 seasons was Wannstedt and he pissed away a championship caliber team.  It would be very nice to have some stability for the first time in decades.
