I came to the realization today that I have never bought my own wallet. I have been gifted every wallet I ever had. Is there anything like that in your life?

Keychain, water bottle, calendar (for myself I have bought plenty for others as gifts) coffee mug (ditto) luggage, all red sox, bruins and Celtics branded clothing.  (most of my pats stuff too, but I have bought a few items for myself)

Mostly winter gear for me. Scarves,hats, gloves. Wallets for me too. These seem like safe things to get people for Christmas etc…

For me, there are a lot of things that fall into the category of:

- Wasn't interested, but received it as a gift or hand-me-down
- Found it to be really useful
- Did some research and bought a better version

This was the pattern for many items in my home.

I'm also a wallet gift receiver, I don't think I've ever bought one myself.  Wine glasses, I have a cabinet full and every one of them was a gift.  Same with beer mugs.

There are so many things like this for me.

Squatty potty.  I'm in love with it, but didn't actually purchase it.
My wallet.
I have a movie book I've been working my way through for about 18 years that was bought for me.
Many/most of my Dolphins gear has been gifted, at this point.
