Bad calls happen to every team.

However, D4L (a "Dolphins fan") seems to think the Dolphins' entire season is invalidated if they receive a few favorable calls in one game.
BUT ONLY THE DOLPHINS
Guys, where is the best place to buy the Buccaneers jersey of Tom Brady (whom I DO NOT support)?

I would like to buy one - not because I am a Brady fan, which I DEFINITELY am NOT - but because I think that wearing that jersey every Sunday and loudly cheering for him will cause him to lose, which is a thing that I want to happen (as I am NOT a fan of Tom Brady).  After all, all the other teams I have rooted for have lost, so this strategy is historically flawless.

Also, are there any long term side effects from getting a tattoo?  Just checking.

Spider, have you ever heard of the term win-win situation?

If I make this bet, either Brady doesn't win the Super Bowl or I make a lot of money.

Either way, I win.

I need a rule clarification.

I just saw the play.

Hit the pause button at five seconds.

I thought the survive the ground rule was eliminated.  Therefore when the Bills player's knee hits the ground and he has control of the ball, it shouldn't matter if it comes loose when his arms hit the ground.

Am I misinterpreting the rule?

The rule hasn't changed. From the 2022 Rule Book defining a catch:

"It is a catch, or an interception, if, in the process of attempting to possess the ball, a player secures control of the ball
prior to it touching the ground, and that control is maintained during and after the ball has touched the ground"

And repeated (several times) in the case study of approved replay rulings. E.g.:

"Receiver is going to the ground and must maintain control of the ball until after his initial contact with the ground."

Cheesy Dude. Lol.
I’ve seen enough movies to know that this arrangement won’t end well for somebody. Don’t even talk to this guy D4L.

Just to cement this thing, the NFL has officially admitted it blew the process and blew the call. Should have been challenged by the booth, would have been overturned. Not a catch.

Good thing the Vikings won that game, because there were a lot of critical mistakes from the refs benefitting the Bills.

How about 12 men on the field in overtime?

Not called. Does admittedly make it easier to play D Wink

I use sportsbook.ag.  -- https://www.sportsbook.ag/sbk/sportsbook4/nfl-betting/nfl-season-futures-super-bowl.sbk

This is the current "futures" available for NFL teams to win the Super Bowl.  You could bet from lots of different sites with slightly different odds, depending on what state you're in.

Currently, the best odds for the Bucs are 18 to 1.  ....$100 wins you $1800.  (It was $2200 before the latest win.)
