THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

Unbelievable.

I said Brady couldn't get any luckier yesterday.

I was proven wrong again.

2nd and 8, the Saints running back chickens out and runs out of bounds one yard short of the first down.

3rd and 1, they fail to convert.

Then, they punt on fourth and one.

Getting the first down would have all but sealed the game.

Then, they drop a pass on their next possession, which would have given them the first down.

Then, they mismanage the clock and fail to leave themselves with enough time to answer

Mark my words, the Bucs are going to win the Super Bowl this year.

I can't believe it

I just can't believe it.

TWICE the Atlanta Falcons have choked away chances to win their games in the last two weeks.

TWICE the Tampa Bay opponents have had the ball needing only a first down or two to win the game.

ALL FOUR GAMES HAVE GONE IN THE BUCS FAVOR.

Maybe TUA needs to mentally will his defense to make stops.

In point of fact, the Buccaneers have NOT clinched their division.

We now return to your regularly scheduled obsession with Tom Brady.

Not mathematically, but it would take an even bigger collapse than

- The Chargers in 2006
- The Seahawks in 2014
- The Falcons in 2016
- The Saints in 2013
- The Browns in 2013
- The Texans in 2017
- Dee Ford in 2018
- The Rams in the 2021 playoffs before Stafford saved them

COMBINED

for the Bucs not to win the division

The Bucs will certainly win the Super Bowl this year

https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/3447581/mark-ingram-needs-to-be-federally-investigated-for-suspiciously-stepping-out-of-bounds-for-no-reason-inches-short-of-the-first-down

Now, even if he was injured on the play, why didn't he just stick ball out as he was going out of bounds?

And why wouldn't you go for it on fourth and one?  That's a no brainer.

And why wouldn't you call timeout to give yourself a chance to respond on the Buc's last drive?

Not mathematically,

The only thing this thread shows is your ignorance of the word clinched.

I'm locking this because it's factually incorrect.
