THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: December 19, 2022, 07:28:58 pm »

Edit:

The Patriots should be 11-3

- Flagrant holding on Howard cost them week 1

https://nesn.com/2022/09/how-did-refs-miss-mac-jones-interception-call-patriots-dolphins/

- Missed calls against GB cost them that game

https://nesn.com/2022/10/kendrick-bourne-believes-refs-missed-this-key-call-in-patriots-packers/

- They were robbed against Minnesota

https://nesn.com/2022/09/how-did-refs-miss-mac-jones-interception-call-patriots-dolphins/

- They were robbed against Las Vegas

https://www.masslive.com/patriots/2022/12/what-theyre-saying-about-raiders-td-in-final-seconds-ruled-inbounds-vs-patritos.html

The Dolphins should be 6-8

- They were gifted a win against the Bears

Miami cannot legitimately earn a playoff berth this season.

This is my last football-related post until the end of the regular season, except for Game Ball and Shame of the Game threads.

Another edit:

Like the Dolphins, the Patriots control their own destiny.  However, the Patriots are a MUCH better team.  Wouldn't it be something if they made the playoffs and went on to win the Super Bowl like they did after the Miami Miracle?

I think the use of "should be" instantly conveys what this thread is trying to get across.

I think the major takeaway from this post is that D4L will NOT be making anymore football related posts (other than game balls and SOTG) for the next THREE WEEKS!!!

The end of the regular season is January 8.
This empty boast, posted on December 19, lasted ALMOST six whole days.
Perhaps, in your heart of hearts, you feared that the Dolphins might actually win the last 3 games?  Because there was never any chance that you were going to stay silent after a MIA loss.

something something personal accountability
