While there is some variation in inflation by geography it is a worldwide macro economic phenomena. 

Neither Biden nor Desantos can control inflation.

You gotta get away from "this president's economy" vs "that president's economy".  That is not reflective of how things work.  It's not your fault, because every politician will use this argument to their benefit, but it's bullshit.  We live in a global economy.  Biden/Trump, etc...they have next to nothing to do with "the economy" or inflation specifically.  Those are many from many, many factors, most of which are global, and whose origins ....some of them date back decades.


To answer your question directly, we're dealing with things in Florida just like everyone else.  Cost of basic goods have gone up a small percentage, but nothing where you can't live.  I notice it more with materials (like when you want to get new windows and glass cost has gone up) than groceries and gas.

In Florida, it's not inflation of day to day cost.  It's housing.  For some reason, the cost of housing has gone through the roof, including the cost of rent.  It's like doubled in just a couple of years.  I got lucky and have a home with a locked cost, but I know many, many people struggling because of this.
