Since no one here seems to believe our Nazi want to be government covered up legit scientists who were opposed to anything Covid.

A Stanford doctor silenced for challenging Biden administration lockdown policies said the government infringed on his first amendment rights.

A federal court ruled earlier this month that the Biden Administration coerced social media sites to censor him and other dissenters who wrote a controversial petition that criticized government efforts to shut down the economy, including schools.

Dr Jay Bhattacharya, an epidemiologist and health policy researcher said the ruling was ‘akin to the second Enlightenment’.

You should really stop reading the Daily Mail.  The decision you are touting as a victory is actually a huge loss for conservatives.

See, a different federal judge ruled the same thing back in July and banned the Biden Administration from coordinating with social media companies.  This more recent ruling threw out that ridiculous order:

"In an unsigned 75-page opinion, three 5th Circuit judges agreed with the plaintiffs that the administration 'ran afoul of the First Amendment' by at times threatening social media platforms with antitrust action or changes to law protecting them from liability.

But the court excised much of US District Judge Terry Doughty's broad July 4 ruling, saying mere encouragement to take down content doesn't always cross a constitutional line."

In any case, I'm not sure what your goal is here.  You and yours definitely don't want policy to be guided by the scientific community, so it seems pretty shortsighted for you to pretend like you believe scientists have some sort of credible authority.  That's a losing proposition for you.

The White House can (and should) advocate for its policies and especially during a public health crisis, work with social media companies to prevent disinformation.

They shouldn't forcibly censor, however.  I'm not sure where the White House's first amendment ends, though, and censorship begins.

Lockdown is a policy issue and is opinion-based.  There are benefits and costs to a lockdown that need to be debated.  I am all for debating the merits of lockdown.  I'm not for debating the merits of the scientific fact, especially by non research scientists.  It's a tweener issue.  It's possible the White House overstepped.

This is literally lough out loud funny considering you and yours can't even define a women according to science. Feelings has much more to do with your view point than logic.

Maybe I missed something because I don't understand where this comes from...

When did the Biden Administration issue a lockdown order?  Because I (and the rest of the country) must have missed the memo...

This is so weird that the right has latched onto this narrative.

CF, do you really think we should listen to scientists on the question of how to define a "woman"?
Or do you think we should listen to Everyday Common Sense instead?

You can't win this argument.  Y'all hate scientists; your entire political philosophy requires their demonization.
Evolution?  Climate change?  Vaccines?  Doesn't matter, your playbook is always the same: the Corrupt Scientists are being paid off by people who want to destroy our country.

We can't trust Fauci and the Biden Administration?  Fine, let's listen to the recommendations of the equivalent organizations in Canada, or Japan, or Australia, or the other countries that had a FAR better response to COVID than the US.
But you don't want to do that.  Because y'all hate science.

Back in July, some nutjob Trump-appointed federal judge - from the same circuit court that said the Biden Administration cannot mandate COVID vaccines in the military (but can still mandate all the other vaccines) and rescinded a 20-year-old FDA approval for Plan B, nationwide - declared that the Biden Administration had violated the First Amendment when it contacted social media companies like Twitter and Facebook to advise them that certain misleading posts about COVID violated those companies' own Terms of Service and should be removed.  This judge then banned the Biden Administration from further contacting any social media companies.

The article CF linked above is referencing a later ruling, which "agrees" that the Biden Administration infringed on the First Amendment while also cancelling the ban on the Biden Administration contacting social media companies.
