I think Miami has all the firepower in the word to hang with Buffalo and Jordan Poyer has been ruled out for the game.  I'm not sure who smiled on Miami this year with the schedule, sending them north to NE and Buffalo early in the season rather than late, but I'll take it.  Miami will score points this week.

Issue is I don't know if Miami's defense is up to the task on stopping Buffalo's offense.  I think the defense you see now won't be the same you will see later in the season, they will get better.  It's also important to note no one is going to go unbeaten this year (most likely, casting a weary eye on you, San Fran).  Winning in this league is really hard, winning on the road is a tougher task and Miami has two of those in the hand already.  As much as I want this one, I think the Fins lose it in a high scoring contest that Buffalo pulls away in at the end.  I don't think the defense will be able to stop Buffalo's attack, I hope I'm wrong.

Buffalo, 37-28.

What say you?

I don't think buffalo holds us to just 4 TDs, the pressure this game is ALL on buffalo .. the Dolphins are playing with house money. If buffalo loses they're 2 games back with 2 division losses and they can practically kiss the division title good bye.

Everyone keeps saying how the buffalo defense is crazy good. I don't see a single decent QB they've played yet. And they lost to Zach Wilson. Conversely the only time Allen faced a decent D, they were ready to run him out of town.

Fact is Buffalo is great with a lead, they're built to get a lead, and  run up the score. They are not built for close games.  If buffalo gets up 14+ on us i could see them winning by 21. If we get up by 14+, you'll see Allen throw 3 picks, and we'll embarrass them at home. If it's close, i see us winning since Tua notoriously plays better in the 4th quarter, than any other.

My head says that Buffalo is the smart money since Miami has peaked.

But fuck my head.

Dolphins offense exposes the Bills defense as the defensive scheme caller is out and we are hard to read with all of the motion. This Dolphins defense is built to beat Josh as it will make him take everything underneath and he doesn't tend to be patient.

Cook and Murray will run all over Miami

Tua will pass Buffalo silly.

This game will be a barn burner, reminiscent of the old 80s matchups between the Dolphins and Jets with Dan Marino and Ken O'Brien lighting it up.

Dolphins are on fire and will find a way to win.

Years of not being the favorites has left us with an internal dread where we can't think we will win these games. However, our offense is insane, defense gets better every week and Josh Allen has been quite human for a long period of time. As long as they don't call X for 10 holding penalties and no last minute injuries:

It feels like a strange situation where Buffalo needs to keep our offense off the field to win... we can score points and do it real quick, and often; last week our OL was a giant wrecking ball, and Achane looked like the second coming of Jay Ajayi.

Our defense needs to stop the run, and contain Allen between the tackles and force him to throw quickly - if we do that (and our special teams doesn't have another meltdown or two) then I reckon we will own them. We do that, and we have the division at our feet, and just need to worry about KC for the rest of the year! Big goals, but after last week, I'm beginning to think in the immortal words of the great George Allen: "The future is now."
