I like the heavy defensive picks this year, give those guys a year to mature in the NFL.  Probably a lower amount of wins this year, maybe bad enough to be able to draft Arch Manning and some offensive lineman next year.  This could be an AFC Championship team in 2027.

Miserable for Manning!

I like it. If we're gonna be miserable in 2025 it may as well be for something.  Grin Cheesy

Manning may not be ready for the NFL until 2027.

Tanking didn't help us 7 years ago so I wouldn't recommend it. The Rams won the Super Bowl, rebuilt and are more competitive overall than we are in the same span.

Suck for Luck worked out so well for the Colts and the multiple Superbowl wins he led them to

Hearing people advocating to tank for a QB while a previous tank target is still on the roster borders on insanity.

IMO, the NFL should be like the NBA and implement a draft lottery for the top three picks in order to discourage tanking.

Suck for Luck worked perfect, Indy got to draft the player they wanted; unfortunately the rest of the team continued to suck.

That's because Grier is a terrible evaluator of QB talent and drafted the wrong guy.

The last team that tanking worked out for was the 1997 Colts.

That's a lot of "terrible GMs" across the league.

According to this article we don't need any more QB's we already have everything we need. Yeah that was a joke, but I do think the backup QB's we have now are much improved over last year.

I don't think we've improved at all.

I look at these guys and think it's just the same as the last couple of years, with different nameplates on the Jerseys.

Failed Jets QB - check

7th round draft pick - check.

When you have an article saying that our 7th round draft pick is a good chance to beat out our second stringer on a good chunk of guaranteed money... where does that sound strangely familiar?

We are still all in on Tua being healthy this season, and hoping like hell the most action both these guys see is holding a clipboard gameday.

^^^^ There are articles I see everyday on the internet, from obscure sources, that are just there for click bait; probably AI generated they are so short.  I read one the other day touting Miami's stellar offensive line. lol

There is no way Wilson isn't back-up this year but next year all bets are off. We guaranteed him 6 million.
