Manning’s had flashes and that game might propel him but we’ll see.

Regardless I think there’s a lot of QB talent this year to find our guy finally.

Things that worry me about guys like Manning (and Shedeur Sanders etc) is they never had to prove themselves the best.  They simply needed to be not obviously worse than the other kid.

If you are coaching peewee football in South Florida and Dan Marino tells you that his nephew is a really good QB and you should play him at QB and there is another kid who also wants to play QB that other kids needs to blow Dan's nephew out of the water for any chance to play.  if they are equal or if the other kids is only slightly better Dan's nephew is going to be your QB. 

Granted Eli and Peyton had that same edge growing up in New Orleans and they did turn out to be worth the hype.

That game was a microcosm of last season for him.   He sucked at first but came on strong in the later half.

Who knows, but either one can be had for later in the first round.   I think if you end up with the top pick, you may want to consider a trade down.

Confidently stating where a player will be drafted only two weeks into the college football season is the sign of some who knows nothing about football while claiming to be smart.  Even the professionals won't be speculating on player draft order until later in the season.

Claiming a player is a late round pick rather than an early round pick this early doesn't make you look smart, it just proves how stupid you are
