Tesla's stock price has long been disconnected from the company's performance, but this is just pouring gas on the fire. When the stock does go down, it's going to go down hard. 2008 hard.
I still have a Tesla Powerwall I bought back in 2017 and I'm hoping their eventual "stock correction" doesn't completely obliterate the company, but that's looking inevitable at this point. Someone will buy up their charging network for sure - it's the most valuable asset in the company - but I have no idea what will happen to the rest of it. None of their vehicles have ever had a generational refresh (only minor changes) and their most current vehicle has been a PR and sales catastrophe.
