There is insinuation from Epstein emails but the "victim" herself said she never witnessed Trump being involved. "Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide in April 2025, consistently stated in sworn depositions and in her posthumously published memoir that Donald Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing against her or other victims and that he was "friendly" during their limited interactions."

I still don't think anyone from either side will go down. Something will happen to stop it. Like I said Democrats had this information for years and did nothing. Now Republicans have it and they are doing nothing. It's all political propaganda for whoever doesn't have control of it.  At the end of the day they all cover for themselves and their donors. It's sickening and I think everyone involved should be held accountable regardless of who they are.

That's 1 victim out of literally 1000 girls that said Trump didn't personally do anything to her.

That's like thinking that Jeffrey Dahmer is innocent because someone met him and said he didn't try to eat him.

As Dave already said, the reason why the Biden DOJ didn't release this information is because that's not what the DOJ is supposed to do.  It is not a political weapon that you get to aim at your enemies after you win an election.  The reason why this Epstein stuff is all coming out now is because Trump campaigned on releasing it and his supporters are demanding it.

As for this idea that Democrats will somehow bury this to protect Bill Clinton or whoever, I think this sums up my response:

Bill Clinton isn't a cult leader like the Great Orange Emperor.  Investigate it all.

The Dems whole playbook was to use the DOJ as a political weapon against Trump. It's so obvious that even some liberals have admitted it  ... hahaha. I really love the holier than thou mentaility because it easily exposes truth doesn't matter to you.

I remember one lady not only gave details to Clinton, Mrs. Clinton, and Trump having sex with young girls, she swore she had video. Everyone went nuts. Turns out she said she made it up. Same with Alan Dershowitze who was accussed of being involved through "leaked" information. Turns out he was able to subpoena the whole records and prove he was not the one.

I say all of this to say that portions of "leaked" emails mean nothing and only biased or ignorant people would belive so. If there isn't a record of it then it is all is hearsay and most times turns out to be noithing. Until the judges disclose the actual important records we will know nothing for sure. I get that doesn't matter for political propaganda but it does for truth.

You messed up your quote formatting.

Yes, you have previously mentioned your belief that Hillary Clinton commissioning a private investigation into her likely general election opponent three years after she resigned from government office is the DOJ conspiring against Trump (because she was somehow still spiritually part of the government).

These e-mails weren't "leaked;" they were directly released by the House Oversight Committee as a result of their official investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

Welll ... after alienating a lot of his supporters Trump has now decided to support releasing the files. This should be interesting to me. Not in the fact we will find anythig out but to see how they still try and cover it up while pretending to being fully transparent.

He really didn't.

He knows it's going to pass the House, so he's telling them to vote yes, because it gives them election cover and it doesn't make his supporters have to split away from him.  It's passing anyway, so now he gets to pretend he's for it.

It still has to:
- be brought up for a vote by a GOP-led Senate.
- get enough GOP votes to pass the Senate.
- Survive an executive veto (which he may or may not do whether or not there are enough votes to override it).

...but even after all that, I will suspect that he will open an investigation in Democrats and then "seal the files" while the investigation is going on, similar to what he did with releasing his tax returns and sealing everything while they were under audit.

I get what you're saying. I'm just saying nothing will come about because of it. It's not really a secret that no one in Washington or behind the scenes ever gets punished. Too much money and people with no morals invloved on both sides.

I have a theory that this is essentially the end of Trump.  I haven't said that in the past 10 years but somehow this just feels different.

I think that it's a marriage of two things: One, it's just not working -- the economy, the tariffs, the masked deportation forces, the drug boats -- none of that is helping and it's hurting regular people.  Things are more expensive, businesses can't staff.  I think that people thought they'd be getting cheaper goods, but it's just getting worse and lying about it ain't helping.

And Epstein -- not because it will change anything (I agree that nobody will face any real punishment) but it gives people an off-ramp.  The same people who know deep down that they supported these stupid fiscal policies can pretend otherwise but cite the Epstein stuff.

Not to mention that Trump is old, falling asleep, lashing out and not even really taking questions.  He might have some declining health.  He's just not inspiring confidence in even his most ardent people.  I think that the right sees this and they're starting to jockey for position in the post-Trump world.

He won't go down without fighting or making a stink, but I think he's out of juice and finally all of the bullshit has nowhere to point but to him.  He can't blame his way out of this.

At the risk of repeating myself, I think we know what the list of "credible names" will look like when Pam Bondi is done with it:

He's been in office for less than a year and we have at least another 3 plus with him as president. I say this because it really seems like you are jumping the gun on what he has been able to accomplish. Most of who voted for him are completley happy with him blowing up drug boats while disgusted with the Epstein thing. It's not an all or nothing kind of thing and he has a lot more time for things to come to fruition. With that said I do think some who used to think he walked on water have seen the other side of him. They may have lost the lusture but considering the alternative it isn't even close s to whom they support right now. He's done many things to advance the GOP agenda and slow inflation.

I don't think you're going to see the files.  He's just going to block them anyway and redact anything to do with him and slow release the ones of other people, especially his enemies.

But I'd also like to point out that Trump saying that Republicans should vote for the bill literally doesn't make sense.

The bill forces Trump to release the files.  It doesn't grant him permission.  If he wanted to release the files, he can do it at any moment.  If anything, the bill protects him by giving him wording that carves out anything under investigation.  He's just going to create an investigation and then block their release.

It's all a scam and he's covering up.

I tend to think this will not derail Trump.

Trump admitted to being a rapist in the Access Hollywood Tapes.  I doubt people who voted for him five times after hearing that tape will change their mind just because he is in the Epstein files.

His supports are happy with his approach of violating the constitution and international law by blowing up boats suspected of having drugs without bothering with things such as evidence or a trial.  (As indicated by CF)

His supports are so dilutional that they believe he is taking steps to reduce inflation. When in fact his tariffs and other economic policies are driving inflation higher.   (As indicated by CF)

As Spider has pointed out MAGA is not a political party it is a cult.  The cult has already accepted that Trump is a pedophile but that is okay because they were older looking 15 year olds and not elementary school aged. (See Megyn Kelly)

You can't lie about the cost of groceries.

CF can tell me that prices are going down, but I live in the world and my groceries and my goods in general have gone up since he took office.  That is just the fact of the world that I actually live in.

I am not alone.  So, I imagine that any amount of pretending that the cost of goods is down will not work, which seems to be his only strategy.

No, I agree prices are still going up but they are doing so at a lesser pace than the past. Some things, like gas and egss, have gotten cheaper but overall the cost of living is a struggle for many of us. I have lived through this several times in my life and know economy recovery is a lot like losing weight. It gets better a whole lot slower than the rate it got bad.

Like I said ... we still have over 3 years more of Trump so I sure hope it gets better soon.
