I don't think it will affect us too much but we always seem to attract drama.

Miami Dolphins outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow was arrested Friday on a domestic violence charge, according to jail records obtained by Local 10 News.

Records show Crow, 37, was arrested by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department on a charge of battery for touching or striking a victim in a domestic incident.

Additional details about the circumstances leading to Crow’s arrest were not immediately available.

Crow joined the Dolphins in 2024 after spending six seasons with the Tennessee Titans, where he served as an outside linebackers coach, defensive assistant and assistant special teams coach.

As of Friday morning, he was being held at the Broward Main Jail with no bond set.

The Miami Dolphins have released a statement on this matter, they said..

“We are aware of the serious matter involving Ryan Crow and currently gathering more information. Ryan has been placed on administrative leave effective immediately. We have been in communication with the NFL and will reserve further comment at this time.”

The Dolphins have appointed Sean Ryan to take over the OLB Coach role while Ryan Crow remains on Administrative Leave after being released from Jail.

Biding my time with this one.   Domestic violence arrests are never what they seem to be.   A complaint by a neighbor about a couple having a loud argument turns into a he said/she said thing, and under Florida law, police are required to make an arrest.

I'm willing to bet his lady even bailed him out.

I doubt it as I read that he's not allowed to have any contact with her after being released. The complaint wasn't about an argument, it was about a man choking a woman and picking her up off the ground with both arms around her like he was going to slam her into the ground. He put her down when he saw people looking at them. This sounds pretty serious to me. I don't think he will be coming back to the team.

That part hadn't come out when I said what I said.  Now that it has, I'm definitely changing my stance.   He choke slammed her and people witnessed the incident??   Talk about a being a dumbass and a piece of shit all at the same time.

And yes, I agree, he won't be coming back.   Given the stance Goodell took with Ray Rice, I don't think he'll be coaching football anywhere for a long time if ever again.
