He's an acting icon and in some of the greatest films.

As most of you know, I watch a ton of these classic movies from a big book and the one that has been my favorite discovery has been The Sting from 1973.  I highly encourage anyone to give it a chance if you've never seen it.

^^^ ...and if you enjoy a good western, I highly recommend the mountain man classic "Jeremiah Johnson."

I would sometimes get him and Paul Newman confused.

He had some great movies. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Three Days of the Condor, All the President's Men, The Candidate, and The Sting are some of his best work.

Some of my favorite Redford movies - The Great Waldo Pepper, The Natural, narration in A River Runs Through It (that makes the movie), Three Days of the Condor.  He really was a great actor and person.
