THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: October 02, 2025, 12:00:20 pm »

This is the Democrats throwing a fit about not getting their way.

The Republicans are trying to do what they ran the platform on.  They ran it on fairness.  They ran it trying to stop people from cheating the system.  They ran it on trying to stop people from living the good life of the American taxpayer.

I have seen many people complaining about their EBT benefits being cut on TikTok.  This is what I voted for.  Go get a job.

Sadly, the problem is far from being fixed.  There are still far too many people out there living the good life and having everything they live off of provided for by the taxpayers.

One TikTok user today literally said, "The government needs to do it's job so I can get money from the taxpayers to feed my child because I don't want to work".

This is what is wrong with this country.

Trump and his administration are to be commended for their efforts not just to make America great again, but fair again.

This is the equivalent of somebody overturning the chessboard because they don't like their position.

And the governorships.  And they bought up all of the TV broadcasting.  And the social media companies.  The Democrats have no power at all.

These people got everything that they wanted, have full power to do anything they want and they still want to blame the other side.  Fucking ridiculous.  Oligarchs who have all the money in the country have convinced idiots to blame the working poor for their problems.

What I don't like about shutdowns is that when the government reopens the employees end up getting paid for all the time they didn't work.  So for most it's no big deal they can live off savings or credit cards for a couple weeks at most, or at least they should be able to.

For government workers, sure.  But people who depend on those services, like social security offices and stuff like that, it's bad.

I think this is lose/lose for me.  I 100% know that Donald Trump is running a fascist regime.  I am stunned that Americans think this is business as usual.  Our representative democracy is dead.  So, on one hand, I am fine with shutting down the government, because it's a government that is weaponized against its own people.  However, I'm pretty sure he's just going to use it as an excuse to fire anyone in the various levels that he thinks is not someone who follows him.

We are right and truly fucked in America and half of us are cheering it on.  I never thought I'd see the day.

How soon before Trump decides to issue an executive order naming the Democratic party as a domestic terrorist group?

(that's a serious question)

People are crying because 40 million Americans suddenly don't have money for food.   This is why you should never put yourself in a position where the government is in charge of your food and money.  If you rely on the government to feed you, you give them the power to starve you.

Why are all these irresponsible children choosing to be born to poor families that can't afford to feed them?
Are they stupid?

Why did the parents have the children to begin with if they couldn't afford to take care of them?   Nobody put a gun to their heads and forced them to reproduce.

That's a decision from the parents, not the children.  Children don't choose to be born, nor who to be born to.

So your "don't put yourself in a position where you are reliant on the government" advice is inapplicable to children, who never had a choice.  It is cruel to voluntarily starve children for choices they had no part in.

Now, if your point here is that the government should confiscate the children of poor families who can't afford to feed them without assistance, then make that point.  But that is not a fiscal argument, as providing foster care for all these confiscated children will cost taxpayers far more than just giving their families food stamps.

My point is this.  Maybe they'll actually go out and get a damn job so they can feed themselves.

the problem in this country is that there are too many lazy second-graders who are unwilling to GET A JOB and feed themselves

That has nothing to do with it.   Nobody put a gun to these parents heads and forced them to have sex in order to make babies.   Scared of an unplanned pregnancy?   Find other ways to get yourself off without penetration.

Yep.   Adults with child's mentalities who see their well being as someone else's responsibility.
