One Battle After Another (2025)

Premise: A radical left-wing militant tries to disappear with his infant daughter when his world falls apart, but his past continues to hunt him down.

Rating: Incredible -- one of the best movies of the last several years.

What a ride.  It was hard to even summarize this film because it's so much bigger than its premise.  It's a long movie but the pacing is great and it really flies.  In addition to being thought-provoking and important and having something to say, it's got nuanced views in there -- but it's also really entertaining and crowd-pleasing.

I don't even want to say too much, but all of the performances are great, the script is great, it's funny, it's exciting -- it's got great and interesting action.  But the best thing is that you never know where the story is going.  You can't tell what's going to happen from scene to scene.

We always complain about sequels and remakes and the same shit over and over, yet here is a new movie with a story you don't know.  Go see it.

I've been waiting on this one. It was a really good movie. I've been complaining about the lack of original ideas and this one didn't let me down. The revolution will not be televised.
