For those of us that have been around ... does it seem worse to you this year than during Cam Cameron's 1-15 season? At least during that season we were competitive. This season we have already been blown out in 3 games. I can't think of any other time in history where after 1 game I felt the season was over ... at least from the persepective of having a chance for the playoffs.

No we were not competitive.   We got blown out in several games that year as well.   There were only a handful of close games.   And the fact that Cam Cameron was crying after the win against Baltimore shows how much of a loser coach he is.  Is that moron even still coaching today?

2007 Miami was the butt of every joke.  Spending much of the season at risk of being the first team to lose 16 games in a season while their rival was dominating the league.

This year Miami was not the last winless team nor the worst team in the league .

2025 Dolphins are bad, but 2007  were epic

I don't feel nearly as bad about today's team and I did then, which just felt completely hopeless.

There are elements of this team that I actually like and especially prior to Tyreek going down, we had a handful of exciting playmakers so at least the games were watchable.  That 2007 team was brutal.

SRS, which is a simple rating system (what the acronym actually stands for) that takes into account point differential and strength of schedule across the season, was -8.37 for the 2007 team, 29th in the league that year.

For this year's team it's -7.62, 27th in the league.

In terms of performance measured by that statistic, the teams aren't significantly different.

In 2007 we had 6 games we lost by 3 or less. We also only had one blowout (21 or more points) through week 12. The addtion of 3 more blowouts came in weeks 13-17 of the season.

This season we already have 3 blowout losses and only 2 losses by 3 or less. Seems worse to me and we haven't even made it to the part of the season when players quit.

The biggest difference is our defense was better in 2007. We had Ronnie Brown, Chris Chambers and Marty Booker on offense but we also had Cleo Lemon, Trent Green and John Beck as QBs. That's a scary crew right there. haha

The 2019 team felt more hopeless than either.  At this point they were on track to be one of the worst teams of all time.
