The only thing that wasn't great this week was the special teams, giving up 7 directly, and if memory serves, another 3 after allowing a fake punt convert for a 1st down.

So, shame goes to Craig Aukerman who coaches the unit.  We have been a bit iffy on everything outside of the kicking game recently.

From the NFL highlights package:

No SOG from me today, although Ethan Bonnar got awfully close with an especially shitty effort in that punt return that went for a TD. He wasn't the only one who missed tackles (Britt, Ingold also looked bad on that play), but he got badly burned twice at the beginning and end of it, which was especially embarrassing... but he did get that end zone INT which countered it.

Hard to give a Shame of the Game after such a dominant performance but special teams did let everyone down for a second consecutive week.

Special Teams.  It's not the first time this season that special teams have been bad.  A new special teams coach may be needed in the off season.
