There is no State tax and you get to live where other people pay to come take their vacations.  That's gotta be worth something.

There isn't a salary cap for coaches so an owner can make up any difference in cost of living from one city to another with more money if the candidate is attractive enough.

As for the fact Miami is a vacation destination any coach who puts a priority on nice beaches and how many strip clubs a city has is likely not the coach you want.

No but Tomlin isn't available.  If he was he was he would be one or two.

Looking like Jeff Hafley from Green Bay advancing to second interview.

Can’t say I’m excited about it but we will see.
The biggest issue I have is that it will look like kind of a DEI hire and not necessarily the best candidate. Kind of questionable that the only person acquainted with the new GM is the one who "blew everyone away ". We will have to wait to see if he actually was the best person for the job.

The other issue I see with a DC as coach is that we will be looking for a new offensive coordinator every couple of years. They are much harder to replace than defensive coaches. Just look at Detroit and their downfall.

This is a shocker but the Bills have fired Sean McDermott.   Think Miami should take a chance on him?

I think the bigger question is will Mike McDaniel be up for the head coaching job in Buffalo? It would make a lot of sense since he's an offensive minded coach. Maybe they would like to see what Josh Allen could do with an offensive minded head coach? McDermott didn't really do much on the defensive side of the ball in my opinion. They were decent, but not exceptional. Maybe the Dolphins would be interested in McDermott as a defensive coordinator if they lose Weaver?

McDaniel to the Bills and McDermott to the Dolphins would be hilarious.

Buffalo's owners are stupid and CHEAP.  They have a great QB in Josh Allen and don't get him any playmakers in WR's or RB's.  And then they blame the coach, it's ridiculous.  Great for Miami, but a bad day for Bills fans here where I live.

I'll give ya the WR deficiency issues, but RB?  Pretty sure that James Cook led the NFL in rushing this year.

Nothing is ever Josh Allen's fault, it's always his supporting cast, or his coach, or his GM (despite the multiple times he's had a top 3 defense and failed to make it past the divisional round).
