I knew the Dolphins had a lot of dead money.  I didn't realize that all of their five highest paid players are not Dolphins.

I found this gem of yours looking back in May. If you said this, you must have already known.

Not only does the Dolphins lead the league in dead money for 2026, they lead the league in dead money for 2027.  Per over the cap they have ~$57 million in dead money for 2027. Which is more than all but 6 teams have for 2026.

My recollection from May was about half of your top ten most expensive players were no longer on the team not 9 out of 10.  I absolutely knew you had a bad cap situation, but I didn't realize it was quite this bad.
