Regardless of what we may think of college athletics, going back to play college football after you couldn't hack it in the NFL is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.   It would be like going back to Little League because you aren't starting for your high school baseball team.

I don't understand the issue with it.  College athletics being a sample of student athletes is a farce.  What's the difference?  He just got sent back to the minors and he's going to have to take some bullshit communications class, just like a bunch of other people who are there treating college sports like the minor leagues.

My understanding was that once you play any pro sports you can't play any college sports.  Spend a week at MiLB training camp and you can't play college football nor intermural kickball and certainly not baseball.

It was also once the case that if you accept any outside money, you can't play college sports.
The times, they are a-changin'.

Intramural sports are open.
