THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: October 04, 2026, 07:02:41 pm »

Was Ollie Gordon touched?

The defense for sure.  Couldn’t stop them all game.

The refs didn’t give them any help.  They missed what should have been a delay penalty setting up first and twenty.

From the NFL Highlights package:

It looked like the defense had a decent day all up, and kept the Vikings out of the end zone. They still have a massive issue covering tight ends who continue to shred out zone coverage, and need to get this fixed.

While it didn't show up in the highlights, I read Paul had a rough day with three costly penalties. There also was a bit of discussion if he really deserved the flags.

What did show up on the tape was that Jackson still looks to be struggling against quality bull rushes one-one one. I was really tempted to give SOG to him again...

But while I have cut them some slack the previous three weeks, I think the special teams group as a whole earned the shame of the game this week. Coach Tabor gets it.

Patrick Paul.  He had like 3 penalties in the first half alone.

Not his best day for sure. He had some ups and downs but his downs were costly.
