It is ridiculous.

"So when you say Miami, You're talking Super Bowl!"

It's been 32 years now.  When you say Miami, you're talking disappointment, NOT "Super Bowl".

Fight songs don't have to be true to be fight songs there, skippy.

I think so.  I mean, the "J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS", they're just rooting their team on.  THere's no "we're the greatest football team - in the air and on the groud" stuff.

Worst fight song ever.  Get rid of it.

A bad tradition is still bad.

I don't know who had the idea to make such a cheesy, periodic fight song, but they should have been shot.

I see this is an older thread but before my time and damnit Spider you literally ripped the words right out of my mouth, man!

I took my dad to his FIRST Dolphins game ever against the Jets last month and the first thing he said after he heard it was,  what the hell is that? How embarrassing.

Pro Teams should not have fight songs.  I'll admit the Dolphins fight song sucks, but it's not as bad as "Braves on the Warpath" for the Redskins.

Actually, a fight song can be appropriate for a pro team.  The Raiders' fight song ("The Autumn Wind") is a good example of a tastefully done fight song that doesn't resort to cheesy periodic gimmickry.  It's pretty much the only classy aspect of that organization.
