You and me both, bruthah...I had a respectable first round, but Alexander+Parker+Harrison+Lelie+Putzier was a big steamy pile of boxscore poop this past weekend.

On the positive side...since I've played this format enough times now to get a good feel for it, the fact that 6 of my 8 slots advanced to the third round (where we can now only substitute 4 players, and next week only 2) means that I'll probably move up the standings at least a little bit down the stretch.

Against my better judgment, I had 2 colts on my roster, which now leaves me with only 7 players going into championship weekend.

I'm already hosed for the Super bowl, unless I want to pick lesser players based on who I think is going to win this weekend.  Instead I have 3 seahawks and 2 panthers (and Adam Vinatieri Roll Eyes )

I think my 112 this week should help move me up a couple of spots, and I'll have a full roster for the final, so maybe, just maybe, I can creep back into the top group.

Always possible...or you could end up getting doubly 'Stroked this season. ;-)

I'm curious how many teams in the top group have all 8 slots active for the final week?

(...the Januarians do)

I hear ya...I started out full bore with Colts-Seahawks players, but more Hawks than Colts because I thought the Hawks' path through the NFC to the SB would be a good bit easier than the Colts. When Indy went down, I flopped to the Steelers with the slots that didn't have Seahawks in 'em, and it's looking good for a strong finish.

I'm just hoping none of the teams ahead of me are running 8 slots as well.  Grin

I have 6 player to go (not D or TE). I like my lead, althought it is slight. The good thing I have going for me (I assume) is that everyone is starting pretty much the same group of guys (Alexander, Big Ben, Ward, Djax, etc.) so it should be a wash for the most part. If somone wants to catch-up he'd have to start someone more unusual (i.e Randel-El) and hope he blows up while the bigger names underperform.
