It's DOO DOO baby!!

« on: January 16, 2006, 07:53:12 am »

So I join Ebay the other night and bid on a gamecube that comes w/ a memory card and resident evil 4 for $100! So I end up winning the thing and get ready to pay for it when something wasn't quite right. You wanna charge me $109 for shipping!! I said this nigga is outta his mind and wrote him an email saying you better send it US mail or fucking pony express or something cause there is no way I'm paying that much, it's insane! But he wrote me back and said he'll take it to the UPS store and send it for likely $13 to $14 which is what I calculated on their site before writing him. So the problem is solved, so far and hopefully I don't get a atari or a 3DO or some bullshit. Thanks for your time.

Yeah, I've had some assholes try that sh!t on me before, and I had to dress em down for being dirtbags.  I ended up getting a free tshirt for my trouble, and only paid 12 dollars shipping.  People on Ebay will try to recover t their losses anyway they can sometimes.

Colecovision???  WOW!!!!  Talk about an old old system.  Which games do you have with it?  Do you have Donkey Kong, Venture, and Cosmic Avanger?  If you do, PM me and we'll work something out.

In regards to Guattarican, a lot of eBay sellers charge an arm and a leg for shipping because they are calculating shipping costs as well as eBay and PayPal fees.  Still, $109 for shipping is outrageous.  For a Gamecube system, I would expect to pay $25 - $30 at the most for shipping.

Mousetrap,Venture,B.C.'s quest for tires,Q bert,Space fury,Smurf,Carnival,Cosmic avenger,Burgertime,Buck Rogers,Super action baseball(I'm not sure if that one worked),antartic adventure,War games,War room,Donkey Kong,Zaxxon,Pepper 2,Mr do....

I need to run to Radio shack,to pick up the TV./Video game selector to go on the back of the T.V,to make sure everything works...

I was thinking of going over to video game place,to see if I could pick up a few more games cheap...to add to the value...

Good luck with that, most video game stores won't take 8 bit games anymore, so if you find any coleco titles be sure to tell us all.

Well I received my gamecube and accessories last night and after playing w/ it for a good 2 hours, I am a happy customer. The only beef I have is that the gamecube open button sticks if you press it all the way down, but if you lightly tap it, it opens anyway. So I'm feeling really good about my purchase and am happy w/ ebay so far.
