Has anyone else come down with the stomach virus? My tummy hurt and I pooped black...Anyone else with simular symptoms?

Yeah dude, i had the same thing saturday. Everything i ate i just wound up getting a stomach ache, then shortly afterward i dropped bombs. Not diarhea though, just big meatloaf turds.

Poopin' black?  That's a symptom of a bleeding ulcer.

From Web-MD:

The symptoms of an ulcer include:

Burning upper abdominal pain, particularly between meals, early in the morning, or after drinking orange juice, coffee, or alcohol, or taking aspirin; discomfort is usually relieved after taking antacids.
Tarry, black, or bloody stools.
Bloating.
Heartburn.

I don't have pain between those things but I did have this colored poop for the weekend...I'm glad to announce that my poop is back to being normal color.

I only used it to confirm that black feces was symptomatic of ulcers.  I've had ulcers myself, but never had black stool.

I agree.  I never use the web site to self diagnose when I'm sick.  I go to a doctor, or gut it out if it's nothing.  The web site is a hypochondriac's wet dream, for sure.

Pepto creates small tears in your stomach, which makes you bleed small amounts.  This is why you might have black in your feces.  Not sure if people know that.  Pepto should be used only when really needed.
