He may get a decent signing bonus of around 5-6 million, but heavy on incentives, and about a book's work of behavioral clauses.

The right way to get him to behave himself and work hard is to offer him a meager base salary, but astronomical incentives.  The wrong way would be to do what the Eagles did, hand him a huge signing bonus before he even hits a lick, and lock him into a long term deal.
