Movie: Annapolis

Premise: Jacob Huard graduates from his job working in a shipyard building navy ships to enroll in Annapolis Naval Academy.  He's faced with challenges and has to fight internal conflicts to succeed.

Summary: Jacob Huard, a kid no one believed in, is faced with man's ultimate motivation - success in the face of disappointment.  A boxer by hobby, Huard finds himself struggling through the academy, in order to defeat his critics and more importantly, his commanding officer.

Rating: B-

Editorial:  I didn't know this was a boxing movie.  I thought it was the story of going thru a military program, but ended up to be more about the kid's boxing with military undertones to set up the big Rocky-style finish.  The ending is somewhat predictable, there's no twists, but if you ever needed motivation to get your ass in the gym, this is it.
