I don't really watch the Winter Games because the US absolutely sucks at them.  I'll admit they did pretty good in the '02 games, but that was the exception, not the rule.  I recall the '88 and '92 games where they didn't even win more than 10 medals TOTAL.  Generally, cold weather countries like Germany, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Norway, Sweden, and Finland tend to do well in these games.
