I shave in the shower with a Mach 3. I wash my face, rinse with hot water, lather my face up again, shave and rinse. Smooth. Very smooth.

As someone who shaves both his head and beard with these types of razors, I'd like to give this one a try.  I'll try the regular one.  I've tried the Mach Battery Powered, but it really didn't make a difference from the regular Mach 3.

The blades are different on the battery powered and standard Fusion, so it might actually make a difference.

You got one Maine? I guess they released them early up in Gilette country.

Anyway, every once in awhile I get a "bad" Mach 3 blade in the pack. It seems to rip my face up. But its usually once in every 15 razors.

According to the review of the Fusion, the battery powered one shaves much smoother than the standard, and has a special teflon like coating on the blade to prevent slicing your face.

Popped into CVS on Saturday and they were there.  $9.99, plus a coupon for $2.00 off the first purchase of re-fill blades ($14.00 for four, I think).  It's kind of cool, has a battery sensor to let you know that the battery isn't at a "safe" power to shave with.  When were they supposed to come out?

I have a Mach 3 for my face and a Quatro for my ball sack.

What the hell should I use the new one for?

Maybe.  I'm hoping it'll give me a smooth shave that'll last for a while, especially up top.  If it's Gillette, I trust it.

As a fellow head shaver I may have to try this on for size as well. See if maybe I can shave every other day as opposed to every single damn day.

Maybe because some of us have jobs that won't allow facial hair.  And maybe some of us (like me) can't grow beards.

For some reason, I have a bald spot on, and directly underneath my chin that will not allow me to grow a goatee.  Does anyone know if Rogaine works on the face?

Seriously...get a straight razor and shave up against the hair angle in that area. The bald spot will fill in.

Someone send a link to this thread straight to Ricky Williams.  He needs help with eliminating bald spots from his beard.

Tommy bought one on Sunday as well. But, and here's the catch...the blades will fit on a Mach 3 handle. No need to buy a whole new razor.

I will try a new one eventually, but in January, I bought an 8 pack of Mach 3 blades. That could last me at least a year and a half. Maybe even 2 years.
