Ugh...the Olympics sucks.  They'll push 3 or 4 "athletes" for the next 3 weeks who will disappear into a puff of smoke after it's all over.  Plus it's on NBC, the worst station for sports ever.

I love the olympics. I can't believe the overwhelming objection to the Olympics from this board. I myself am a huge sports fan and look forward to the Olympics every time they come around.

The only time I watch an hockey,is during the winter games.
probably because the whole match will take like an hour and a half to complete....

The other thing that pisses me off,alot of the other networks run re-runs during the olympics.

I support hockey and watch it as much as i can, but I don't have confidence in the US Men's team (At least from a goalie perspective). I don't think they will win and since we live in a society that does not care about second and lower.... well, you know.

I don't like the olympics for one large reason. SOAP OPERA STORIES. I don't really need to know who the person is and why i should be paying attention to him/her rather than anyone else.  I like the "sport" participation that they have, just cut the soapy long drawn out stories and give us more sport coverage. It's that simple for me.
