Premise:  A woman saves an injured man's life, and tells the staff at the hospital that she's his fiance to get into his room.  When his family shows up, they hear the news and welcome her as one of their own.  Meanwhile, she's afraid to tell them the truth, not only because they're holding on to the comatose man through her, but also because she's getting attached to them.

Rating:  Decent, for its genre.

Don't get me wrong...this is a sappy romantic comedy, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  Any time she could've just said "no...you midunderstood.   I just met this guy."  As far as crappy romantic comedies go, this wasn't any worse than the others, and had the occasional laugh.  The casting of her family was great (the dad from Everybody Loves Raymond was among them).

This isn't worth renting, but if your girlfriend owns it on DVD and you're up late, you might want to check it out.

PS - Does anyone even read these reviews?

I read them.

This movie was ok. I really am not into romantic comedies, though.

i read all of your reviews. i would say about 90 % of the movies you bring up i have never heard of, so it's good to know if something is worth a rental or a waste of time

I read them too. But only to make fun of the crappy girly movies you watch when you're home alone and then blame on your girlfriend.

As gay as this sounds, I'm starting to dig the romantic comedies. The most recent one I watched was Must Love Dogs.

I'm down with the frown.

This movie was only worth one part...

"He was...leaning"

I'd always called it that before the movie, and it cracked me up that they used the same expression.
