Forget this.  I will wait until the Revolution comes out.  I am a Nintendo loyalist, and you will NEVER see me playing the Xboxes or Playstations.

I was a Nintendo loyalist, too.  I prefered the N64 to the Playstation (although it didn't have as much 3rd party support), and I also bought the Gamecube at launch.  It didn't have enough stuff for it, and the games were really niche, so I ended up getting an XBOX, too, and playing it a lot more.

Nintendo still has some great franchises, but a lot of their stuff is geared at children and Japanese culture -- both of which I am not.

Nintendo has always been an innovator, but I think that the new Revolution design is just too wacky for me.  I'd like some familiarity with my controller, but instead it looks like a remote control.

I have never understood being a fan of a certain system just out of loyalty.  If you like games buy whatever system they come out for,  why deny yourself gaming goodness just because you "hate" the others?  You're just hurting yourself as a gamer in the end. 

It's like not watching a movie because it was developed by "Universal Pictures",  or "Tri Star".  N64 sucked nuts because it had a limited amount of games.  Just like Dreamcast.  Oh well,  to each their own,  you'll NEVER catch me not owning a system just because.

Bad move! I have had my 360 for about 2 months. UPS is coming to my house to pick my XBox up because it is not working corectly. So xbox is going to fix it. Same with my brother-in-law he has to send his 360 in also.  So for all you that want to buy the 360 I would wait a like 3-4 more months to let them fix all the bugs!!!

that sucks that you and your brother in law were two of the unfortunate ones to get a defective 360.  Thankfully the defects are in the minority because everyone I know in real life that has one has had no problems.  I myself have had no problems except my play and charge set was defective.

My friends got theirs Day one, and have had no problems, and yeah its an inconvenience to have to send it away for repairs, but they have a fast turn around, unlike the Nazi's at sonys customer service.
