This team looks old, unathletic, and seriously lacking in perimeter defense.


Charles BARKLEY pretty much summarized the heat's situation last night.

They cant shoot, cant guard anyone, cant rebound...........and the line of the night .........

Shaq & Wade are the micheal jackson's & the supporting cast are a bunch of tito's....... lmfao.

Shaq is playing like a 5 million dollar player not 20 million, and like i've stated before is stealing money from mickey arison.

Barkley also stated that Stan Van gundy is his vote for coach of the year, because he saw the titanic sinking and decided to jump off just in the nick of time.

This team is a freakin joke, and their's nothing riley can do, because no one is trading for antoine" i suck at shooting, and cant play defense walker". Gary " my feet are stuck in quicksand payton".  Ohh yeah how's the defensive stopper james posey working out for ya? We'll it couldnt get much worse than last night's debacle. i'll be at that detroid game i expect to enjoy the game.

I don't think the heat are nearly as bad as they played last night. Of course i think zo being out there would have made a big difference in the game. He's been playing all star caliber D and he's a 7th man.

I think Detroit is going to get spanked.

Miami has problems beating playoff caliber teams.  If they make it to the second round of the playoffs,  it'll end there.  Barkley is right.

100-98. Not quite a spanking, more along the lines of Detroit pissed it away. But hey they finally beat a excellent team. 1-7  against top teams,looks like they are going deep into the playoffs.

I was at the game with Fau. I also had a new toy: binoculars with digital camera built in. It does still photos and motion. This is my first time playing with it, so quality isnt great, but i will work on it for the future. Coolest toy ever though....

Aww i knew this was coming. The heat barely won, and all the heat fans are claiming they're back. I say bullshit. It took a 17pt performance by wade too bring you guys back. You're supporting cast sucks, and you still cant guard the perimeter. The heat needed that game way more than the pistons. The pistons already have proven themselves. In a playoff situation wade would've never been allowed to dominate. the pistons would've sent double-teams forcing the ball out of his hands. CAN we please get off the hobbled team excuse its getting old. You werent the better team period, just like you arent the better team this year. The pistons take you out in 6 games in the playoffs.

I am not going to say the Heat is back because they still have problems. I am still trying to figure out the reason for the overhaul -- Even Rasheed Wallace in the offseason said "I don't know why they made all those moves - the team they had took us to 7 games". I will say this -- someone else needs to step up. Antoine Walker that expensive fat bozo better get out of his funk its killing us. The Heat also needs a point that can run the floor when Wade is not in there. The minute Wade goes down this team is DONE. Bottom line Heat still have ways to go & Im kind of pissed at Rileys ego but Detroit cannot feel the Heat is money anymore. Each & every game injuries or not the games have been close this season. Come the playoffs if healthy & Shaq turns it up a notch like he has always done - watch out.

I see joe dumars wasted no time in adding more ammunition to the frontcourt. He traded the bust DARKO in exchange for 6'11 280 kelvin cato. That's another banger, and 6 fouls he can use against shaq when they meet in the conference finals, and he recieved a 1st round pick as well. Dumars is leaving no stoned unturned. This IMO will pay huge dividends come playoff time.
