I saw this as a tidbit,in the article about Al Micheals going to NBC...
From the sunsentinal...
Michaels and Madden's NBC debut will be the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton on Aug. 6 (teams to be determined).

NBC also will do the NFL opener Sept. 14, which could be either Dolphins-Steelers or Broncos-Steelers.


Wow,Talk about reseting a little history,what was the first NBC sunday night broadcast,Dolphins steelers...

As nice as it would be to see a Dolphin game(live in NY), I would prefer they DON'T start the season 0-1.

Sept. 14 should be regular season.  It says season opener.

I don't see PIT as being significantly better than the teams we beat last year.

That's not to say that they're fakers, but IMO, they pretty much won the Super Bowl by default.  Every other team choked it up horribly.

I'd rather have the steelers in the first round than later. Anything can happen in the first round.
