I know what you're thinking, another Valentines day thread,it's over damn it!

Well,I thought most of you might find this interesting.since Friday February 10,till Today. We've had 23 cases of suspected infidelity..here's the break down and the final stats.

We had 19 Women hiring us to investigate thier Boyfriends/Husbands
We had 4 Men hiring us to investigate thier girfriend/Wives

We have 17 Men,that we have verified that they are having extra marital affairs.
We have 3* Women, that we have verified that they are having extra marital affairs

1  inconclusive,at this point, this case has the whole office scratching our heads. We have her Husband on tape with a woman,we're not sure if it's her,or another woman. When our client came in ....she had shoulder length blonde hair,Glasses, and was wearing a large sweatshirt. The woman on the tape, looks alot like her, except shorter hair, that is Brownish/Auburn,no glasses, and dressed to the 9's.(Yowser!)

We are torn comparing the tapes(the original security cam vs the evidence),3 she's a different woman,4 they are the same woman. The client is schedualed for a final conference,(and to pay us) Saturday afternoon. We'll see if she is wearing contacts and has had a makeover.

*We caught 1 woman in a threesome with a man and a woman,so she got busted with 2 other people...(It wasn't my case,I'd liked to had this case.)

Those we couldn't get evidence on....

1 woman was actually working alot of overtime, also verified through co-workers.

1 Man,was taking a college course, but was doing it as surprise for his wife.
1 Man was ?? We don't know,watched himm,maybe a drug habit? Undecided

And I'm guessing that in most of these cases,  that if things were being taken care of at home  Wink ;)  by the accuser,  this wouldn't have happened.

Nah, if it's in you to cheat, you're gonna cheat.

True.  But that's why I said most cases.  Personally I'd leave a chick who didn't give up,  too important in a relationship.

Leave and cheat are two different thing, 'Los.  I might leave, but I wouldn't cheat before I left. (I hope I wouldn't, anyway).  Faithfulness is like courage, I think; you never know if you're faithful or brave until you're in position to prove otherwise.

Ah,  that's why I said personally,  these people (I assume)  would rather cheat than leave (children maybe).

I'm new and all, so could you tell me what it is that you do? Are you a private investigator?

I replied to an ad in the newspaper for Skip tracers. Will train the right person.

I'm going to hijack my own thread here...

It's funny my boss, apologized to me the other day,he said he should have warned me.( Being Single, with no kids) He said he typically doesn't like to hire people that are single,to train for this job, because it makes dating extremely difficult.only 2 of us aren't married (technically) the Early morning front desk girl, and I.Sam is getting a divorce.

Lil B, let me ask, how much power do you have? Can you arrest someone? Or merely track them? Do you carry a gun while doing this? Have you ever shot at anyone or seen anyone die?

Can you arrest someone?
Sort of,About the same way you could with a pair of handcuffs.(It doesn't mean much) I'm really not arresting them, more taking control of them.

Our firm is Firmly against us carrying firearms, with the feeling that....It eases tension,in 99.9% of situations that we'll deal with....

Things we do....
Video Surveillance
Premarital Background Checks
Nanny Checks
Missing Persons/Runaways
Child Custody Investigations
Personal Protection
Corporate Theft/Fraud
Workplace Threat Assessment
Identity Theft
Internet Fraud
Internal Auditing
Bank Fraud
Undercover Operations / Investigations
False Disability Claims
General Insurance Fraud
Vehicle Reposession
Divorce Investigations
Info gathering service
Verification service
There's more stuff that we cover....But It's over my head.

Some of the stuff we really don't do much if....

I hope that helps explain better, than the hollywood idea  of a Gumshoe... Wink
