Worry more about the defensive secondary and defensive line.  Last time I checked we ran the ball pretty well and couldn't stop the run to save our lives last season.  Heath freaking Evans put up over 100 yards on us last season.

I keep bringning this up, but I guess people don't believe me. Our defense actually was tied for 7th in the league for YPC. We only gave up 3.7 per attempt. That is pretty good actually. The run problem was more of a reflection that we could not stay on the field offensively. We gave teams more running attempts than actually giving up yards per attempt.

If you look at some "advanced" metrics (somewhat similar to what a passer rating does for quarterbacks), FootballOutsiders have Miami as the 3rd best in run blocking and 4th in adjusted sack rate.

With Reggie Wayne coming to an agreement with the Colts today, is there anyone here who DOESN'T expect Indy to slap the tag on Edgerrin now? Seems like a no-brainer to me.

That seems to happen to the poor guy every year. (Not that $8 mil is anything to scoff at...)

they can't afford it... the tag will cost them too much against the cap now that peyton has lined his pockets with most of it. he's gonna be a veteran cap casualty, but his asking price is going to be high (too high for the dolphins to afford that is for sure).
