Premise: Young female artist who's mother is deathly ill gets transported into a world of her drawings.

Rating: Excellent A++++

The geniuses from Jim Henson's company that created The Dark Crystal came out of retirement and teamed up with a computer graphics team to create an absolutely visually stunning movie. The mix of puppetry and animation is awesome.

The biggest critizism this movie gets is a lack of story line. However, I found the characters to be entertaining and thoughtful.

Official synopsis:
Screenwriter Neil Gaiman's masterful allegorical drama, which melds live actors with animated characters, portrays the existence of a 15-year-old girl named Helena (Stephanie Leonidas) in a civilization ruled by light and darkness. When the Light Queen loses her equal hold on the kingdom, plunging it into gloomy shadows, Helena takes it upon herself to restore the universe back to its rightful balance.
