In February 1996, the boxing world was shaken to its core when ex-WBO/IBC heavyweight champion and Rocky V star Tommy "The Duke" Morrison failed a pre-fight physical examination, testing positive for HIV. He immediately announced his retirement from the ring.

What do you guys think? Would you wan't to fight him?

To much of a chance of getting HIV if you ask me. All you need is to get a cut on your face and clash heads or somthing. I don't know if I would risk it.

I was wondering why this was news again. I see he wants to make a comeback and sue the boxing commission that banned him. I don't think I would ever agree to a fight with him. I wonder if there are other HIV positive boxers that tried to hide the fact after this happened?

I would fight him as long as he's not bleeding.  Once he starts bleeding, the fight is over.

You don't know that.  I've seen plenty of boxing matches when not a drop of blood was spilled. 

Same reason why I would guard Magic Johnson as long as he's not bleeding.

Not really the same thing.  Bleeding in basketball happens by accident -- and there is no contact after the blood.  In boxing, one of the goals of the sport is to make your opponent bleed.
