2011 NFC East Champions!

What would you do to put up a competitive squad sometime soon here??

Personally, I'd trade Torry Holt and Marc Bulger for expansion, late-round draft choices, and an undisclosed cash sum.  Evil

Deal Steven Jackson to New Orleans for their 2nd round pick and let Faulk run the rock.  Steven Jackson is overrated and going to get exposed as the fraud he is.

Fire the coach and bring in a defensive minded stud.

I believe Jackson is overrated, but there is no way at this point Faulk can run the ball 225 times in a season.

Brian do you realize i'm making fun of you in everyone of these GM posts by trading the top players for draft picks and cash?

With that being said, are you really serious about having old-ass marshall faulk be the #1 RB on the Rams?

They already made the most important move they could, find a new head coach.

St. Louis has done a good job with Faulk -- using Jackson and him together to extend both of their careers.  That seems to be a new trend - LJ and Priest, Faulk and Jackson, Ricky and Ronnie (sans drug tests).

No way Faulk can be a leading man in this league anymore.

You guys are overlooking Brian's obvious motivation for disliking Stephen Jackson...Jackson totally let down Brian's FFL squad this past season.  Wink

Thank you, Stroke....  At least not everyone's head is firmly wedged between their ass cheeks.

And, Joe, no, I'm not serious.  Just like I'm fairly certain they're not going to fire the coach they just hired a month ago.

I don't think any of us can speak for what we'd do as GM for any of these teams, simply because we don't know enough about them.  So, I like throwing out ludacrous ideas, just to get people talking.  A "stud" is never above being traded, yes, even Peyton.

I do like reading people's ideas though.

I would do whatever it takes to keep Adam Archuleta, as well as pick up Nate Clements or Ty Law.  Additionally, I would go after a pass rushing specialist in the draft, like Tamba Hali or Matthias Kiwanuka because you can no longer trust Leonard Little.

Find a successor to Orlando Pace in the draft.
Revamp the secondary.
Upgrade the DL.
Skill positions on offense are good.
Almost the same strategy with the AZ Cardinals.
