I love playing tackle football in the water.  To make it good, you'll need a pool deep enough to cover at least half your body (Four to five feet should do it)  The rules are the same as regular football, except for two major differences.

1.  To tackle the person, you must take them off their feet and dunk their upper body completely under the water.

2.  The "ground" can.....I repeat..... can cause a fumble. 

There is nothing like the free-for-all that ensues when a person is "tackled" only to watch the ball come squirting up to the surface.  If two people attempt to recover a fumble at the same time and go under the water, whoever surfaces with it gets the ball for their team.
