Thats awesome, thanks for posting. Looks like the shadows to me. The black costume didn't have the same "visuals" as the red and blue one.

I've read (somewhere) that the black costume appears in this movie, and that they were having problems with making it look good because they had incorporated purple into the costume (something to do with the comic book and how they use purple to separate the costume from black backgrounds).

it looks like the picture is just dark because the shade appears different around the sides and up towards the shoulder

I heard that too. But I thought that it was the reason they weren't putting Venom in the movie, the purple in the suit thing is what I mean.
