Do any of you watch Lost?  This has to be one of the most addicting shows to watch. (Besides Sopranos)

The story lines are just cool as shit.

we've already had a long thread about it, go gravedig a little and you'll find it.  i've never seen the show, and dont plan on it since its a "paranormal" show, and i cant stand anything on TV thats not real.

some of the guys on here like Dave are real hard-core into it

I was curious if those guys are still hanging in there in terms of watching it. As I may have mentioned in the other thread, my observations are these shows typically end without solving any of the questions. I was curious if these guys still had hope of finding anything out or if they had given up.

My wife has watched this since the start. I never got into it because I was too busy with other things. I sat and watched an episode with her prior to Christmas, and now watch it every week. I am trying to catch up on season one with the DVDs.

I got way behind because of the hurricane.  I have since caught up and DVR it each week.

I don't want to commit to each week, so I'll only watch them on DVD.  Season 1 was awesome and I can't wait to start season 2.  I just hope they start answering more than they introduce.

This show is right up with "24", The Simpsons,  and (geek alert!!) "Battlestar Galactica" as one of my four favorite shows.

You'll be disappointed.  They hardly answer anything.  Every week the trailer looks like "damn this episode is gonna be awesome" and every week nothing gets solved.  I'm looking for answers to the long term story line, but each week it seems they introduce a new problem, do some stuff, and its resolved by the end of the show.  Nothing is happening in terms of the long-term story, and its pissing me off.

I will continue to watch it every week, though, and I also TiVo every episode.

Anyone have any theories on the stuff that showed up on the clock when it ticked down to zero?

Allegedly (my wife went Internet hunting) the Hieroglyphs mean "death comes for you" or something similar.  There was a weird humming, too, which people think might have been the island's "strange electromagnetic properties" being unleashed.  Some people think that when the clock goes to zero, the Island's magnetic properties act up and attract something (like a plane, a boat...).  Of course, I never saw anyone's watches and necklaces flying off their bodies when the clock hit zero, so I'm not sure I buy that theory.

Well, when the clock hit zero, the only one there was Locke, and last I saw he's not wearing any jewelry.

Its an interesting theory...  I got a good screen-cap of the clock as it was winding down, and it definitely looks like heiroglyphics, but I don't know how to translate that stuff.

When we saw the hieroglyphics, Laura said "I wonder how many dorks will go on the internet and look those up?"
Later that night, Laura was looking them up on the internet. She's a dork.

The bird ("U" or "W") and the curvy line ("S") were there, but the shovel looking thing and the candle aren't listed here.
