Here's something we can laugh or bitch about.  Phinatics is similar to TDMMC in regards that it is a fan discussion forum site.  The main forum there is Phinatics Talk.  Here is the description for it:

Phinatics Talk
A place to talk about anything regarding the Miami Dolphins or the NFL.

So I take some of my "You're the GM" threads we've all been enjoying here and post them over there, and what does Phinatic do??  He moves them to the Phorum Soap Opera forum!!!!   I mean, really, how in the hell is that stuff a soap opera???

Umm, maybe because its all speculative talk. None of us has any say over any franchise, so its just fantasy talk.
Its Doug's forum, and he can run it however he see's fit.

Yawn......

Can we move this thread to the "Who Gives A Fat Rat's Ass" Forum?

Just curious - why would you move threads from one site to another?  It doesn't really bother me, but it seems a little odd.  I look at other fan sites to see different material, not the same stuff.

Sadly, the "Your The GM Threads" are coming way too fast.  I was surprised to see all the teams listed in such a short time.  There's no way to keep up and make a resonable response.  We should only have 2 or 3 a week and give people a chance to think and respond.

Because I think that if a thread is a good read or a good topic of discussion, it should be made available to all.  There are plenty of Phinatics members that are not registered here at TDMMC.

UK, I like you because you say what I think.

I would think that you'd want to bring more readers to TDMMC content....not the other way around.

I do a little of both.  Mix is one of my exclusive recruits.  Plus, keep in mind that I was the one who convinced Carnage to come back.

I think you should come up with something original for both sites if you're looking to be a post whore (read: active member) on both sites.

Yawn......

Amen to that.  When Dave first started posting that series, I enjoyed being able to give and read other member's serious thoughts regarding that team...instead of reading people saying "trade player X for compensatory picks...LOL" in every one because there are so many new GM threads that there isn't time to give a real answer. I think Dave alone should go back to starting those...and if another member has their own original idea, fire that thread up as well.

This is like the poop bet situation...once dug up, it got massively overplayed. C'mon people...have an original thought and run with that sucker!

Why you gotta spoil the party??  Poop bets are fun.  I will never get bored with one of those.  And considering there were only six bets throughout the year, I wouldn't label it "massively overplayed".
