What do you think of Chris Thigpen, our top catching prospect now that whats his face is going to be put on waivers at the end of Spring Training.

How about Ricky Romeo, and Chip cannon.

anyone else Toronto has that you like

The best player in your system right now is Dustin McGowan.  He's a RHP, has some pretty good stuff.  Last I knew he was rated as a top 50 prospect.  He'll start the season in Syracuse, but should make it to the Jays roster during late season call ups.  His change up is just sick but he needs to work out some problems with locating his fastball.

Ricky Romeo, in my opinion, has a little further to come along before he is ready.  He'll probably spend a bulk of this season in Manchester with the Fisher Cats.  As a lefty he is valuable and they won't rush him along.  He doesn't over power people and needs to spot his pitches a little better, but he certainly could become something in the future.  The thing with Romeo is that he also makes nice trade bait.  He won't be major league ready for a bit, but he is in the top 100 prospect outlook so he has value.

The Jays have another lefty that I am more excited about, his name is David Purcey.  He might make it into AAA this year and is someone to keep your eye on.

Cannon is a nice power hitter, but the Jays aren't high on him.  They've tried to trade him a few times and the scouts I've talked to don't like his eye.

One kid to get REALLY excited about is Yuber Rodriguez.  He is a CF by trade, but I think he's your LF of the future.  This kid has everything.  He has size, speed, baseball smarts.

This is a snap shot of what I have for a scouting report for him:

Yuber Rodriguez is one of the rare prospects from Venezuela in the Jays minor league system. He flashed all his tools during the summer off 2004 while playing for Pulaski. He is a fine outfielder with speed and range, and on the offensive end of the game can hit for power, average, and for his age, he demonstated solid plate discipline.

Manuel Mayorson is another to watch.  He is a 2B by trade, but can play SS.  Mayorson is a guy that I thought would replace Hudson in '07, but maybe the Jays think he might be a late season call up this year.  He easily is the best defensive player in your minor league system and has the best arm by head and shoulders.  I actually think his arm is better than anyone on your MLB roster, but we all know that it's more than a cannon to get things done.

Manchester is only 90 minutes from where you live; you really should go and watch these kids - those are your future Jays!

Hope this info helps a little.

i actually watched them last season. Last home game so i said what the hell, might as well see the last home game. The Team lost. My friend and I left the ballpark at the begining of the 9th inning.

I saw Josh Banks pitch, (what do you think of him maine). He did pretty well until the 5th inning when he began to get lit up. I did see a nice play CF to C to get the guy out at home.

Does Negron have any future with the club or is he going to be a career minor leaguer, just asking because i saw him play.

This season i may go check out a few games, are there any players that i should watch closely.
