Yeah, V-Dub is one of the main reasons the US is eliminated. In fact, it's just easier to list the people who didn't completely suck:

Ken Griffey Jr. (then again, take away his South Africa stats and he wasn't great)
Derek Jeter (okay)
A-Rod(hey, drew an important walk in the 9th)
Roger Clemens
Chipper Jones
Huston Street
Jason Varitek (yeah, forgot he was on the team too despite being their best catcher)

Losing to Mexico last night said it all. What a disgrace these idots proved to be!!!!! I saw no heart or intesity what so ever. Pathetic!!!!!  Angry

These guys looked like people who haven't seen a 90 MPH pitch in 5 months...which is exactly the case.  I feel no shame that the U.S. lost to some good teams, many of whom play and train year round.

How ironic that Mexico knocked them out of the tournament.... and Mexico also sealed their fate and knocked them out of the 2004 Olympics, ending their chance to defend their gold medal from the 2000 games.

Well justice was served last night and the Japs took what was rightfully theres. Maybe Bobby Valentine was totally right about the Japanese game being as good as the American game.

Eh, have this game in the summer or November and I think you see much different results. Not essentially America winning, but the offenses wouldn't be as dead, especially DR.
