But then do you take away the pre-season games?  As much as people hate those, they are definitely needed.  Coaches need several games where they can get a good look at guys.

Exactly.... why take them away?   Some people want to add two regular season games and take two preseason games away due to injury concerns.  I say that that's gonna hurt the league because a guy may work his tail in practice, and only get 1-2 chances during the preseason??

Why would you expand it 2 more games?

I think that 16 is perfect, as there are lots of teams still battling in the last 2 weeks. ....this seems like it might be lost and a lot of close races would already be decided.  Plus, I like how the games are so meaningful because there are less of them.

I would love more football, too.  ...but it has to be meaningful.  I don't like there being so much preseason, either.  I almost wish that there was an NFL B-League, with the same set of rules, and each team would have a minor league.

Its called NFL Europe.

They don't show the games here.  Not sure why, I'd watch it.

They tried XFL, Arena Ball, WLAF - only NFL Europe still exists.  I wish they'd show the games in the US!
