Charges dismissed against Culpepper in boat party scandal

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Quarterback Daunte Culpepper was cleared Tuesday of misdemeanor charges stemming from a boat-party sex scandal.

A Hennepin County judge ruled there wasn't probable cause to determine a crime was committed by Culpepper, one of four Minnesota Vikings accused of misdemeanor lewd conduct during the cruise last fall on a suburban lake. Culpepper has since been traded to the Miami Dolphins.

Judge Kevin Burke denied a motion to dismiss charges against running back Moe Williams.

The other two players charged, cornerback Fred Smoot and tackle Bryant McKinnie, weren't part of Tuesday's ruling. Their next hearings were scheduled for Thursday.

No i suggest that he paid the prostitute or prostitutes an amount of money and the charges were subsequently thrown out.

No sir, if you really want to know i got a lawyer and beat my charges due to the fact that they were bogus and had zero evidence and am pursuing legal action against the department and i will probably be buying the Dolphins sometime soon with my civil suit. I was charged with DWI for driving sober and charged with a possession charge for not possessing anything...LOL. I should've gropped strippers that night.

Why did the cop arrest you for DWI and possession with no evidence? Did you do something to piss him off?
